What we ask, and why

  1. Vehicle type

    A pickup, an SUV, a daily-driver sedan and a weekend classic are priced differently. Repair costs, safety equipment and how the vehicle is typically used all play a part.

  2. Model year

    Newer vehicles often cost more to repair or replace, which matters for collision and comprehensive coverage. Older vehicles may not need the same coverage at all.

  3. Drivers

    Everyone who regularly drives the vehicle usually needs to be on the policy, and each driver's record affects the price.

  4. Current coverage

    Whether you are insured today helps shape your quote. Many insurers look at whether coverage has been continuous.

  5. ZIP code

    Where the vehicle is parked overnight affects the price more than most people expect, because claim costs differ from one area to the next.

Rockin Hot Rod uses your answers to put your car insurance quote together. Our team may follow up by phone or email using the details you give us, and by text only if you opted in. Quotes and eligibility are subject to underwriting and approval, so the final price can change once every detail is confirmed.
